About Don Moses
Owner, Suzuki Engine Sales & Certified Mechanic
Don has been involved with the boating industry in Hawaii for over 50 years. He brought the single-hull Radon boat design to Kauai in 1974 and produced over 200 boats in the 10 years that followed. Designing and building three custom tour boats, he started a charter fishing and tour boat business in the early 1980’s. After selling his tour business, he re-opened his boat building business by designing the double-hull, outboard-powered Hawaiian Sea Cat. Due to high demand for his highly acclaimed SeaCat design, he and his team built over 35 of the recreational catamarans that were used throughout the Islands and beyond. In 1996 Don discovered the superior quality and engineering of the Suzuki line of 4-stroke engines and began to equip his SeaCats with them. In 1998 he became one of the first 4-stroke Suzuki outboard dealers in Hawaii.
Don is a certified Suzuki mechanic and has trained with the Suzuki engineers in Japan during the years he has been a Suzuki dealer. He has firsthand experience with the superiority of the Suzuki product, their philosophy and their dedication to being the very best. Don’s wealth of knowledge coupled with his personal dedication to fulfilling his customers’ needs, has made him consistently one of the highest rated, top selling dealerships in the Hawaiian Islands.
